SG Studios inc. has begun production on a portable concession stand for Legendairy Gelato, a company that sells Italian ice cream. Legendairy Gelato plans to travel all over the United States with a goal to educate customers about the dairy farms that help produce gelato. The concession stand will feature a 60-inch plasma television that will show a video that promotes how dairy farmers of America cultivate and produce the dairy necessary to make Legendairy Gelato’s delicious gelato.
SGS has gone through an extensive design process as they have worked closely with the client in order to capture the client’s vision of how the concession stand should be designed. SGS has been using a 3D program and has taken CAD drawings of the trailer to design 3D elements to fit the trailer.
The overall theme of the project focuses on dairy farms as the trailer itself will have 3D portable elements designed to look like a barn. Other portable items include a tree, sun, and grain silo. A fruit stand and milk containers will also be featured. A highlight of the portable set design is the windmill that has ice cream cones in place of the blades.
As the studio begins production, they will be using 3D materials constructed out of fiberglass, aluminum, wood working, and vinyl art. The team expects the project ready for installation in about two months.
