On Friday 26th of August, Shane Grammer of SG Studios Inc. will feature his artwork at an event called Awareness to Action, an effort to raise awareness about the international epidemic of sex trafficking. The event will take place at Bayside, a church in Roseville, California. Doors open at 5pm and the event goes until10pm. Tickets cost $10 online and $15 for couples. The event will feature artists like Shane Grammer, musicians, experts in the field of human sex trafficking, and a collection of local organizations dedicated to ending sex trafficking.
Following the exhibit is a dinner, a musical performance by internationally known recording artist, Lincoln Brewster and a discussion panel of experts in the field. Participating organizations includeInternational Justice Mission, Agape International Missions and Courage to Be You. Jenny Williamson, founder of Courage to Be You, and Don Brewster, founder of Agape International Missions, are a couple of the keynote speakers lined up to share about their efforts in the field.
The night will end with a screening of the documentary Nefarious: Merchant of Souls. The documentary, helmed by Exodus Cry, lifts the veil that covers the horrors of sex trafficking, and it carries a message of hope to the people in the community that says no one is powerless to stop this crime.
